How to Play
Word Ladder gives you a starting word and a target word, usually of the same length. Change one letter at a time to reach the target, with each intermediate result being a valid word.
For example, you might turn CAT into DOG via COT, COG, and DOG. The shortest valid chain is the best solution.
Controls
Click a letter to change it, or type the next word in the chain. The game validates each entry.
Scoring
Fewer steps and faster completion earn higher scores. Some puzzles have a step limit.
