Start with a corner or edge click to maximize the chance of a large opening.
A 1 touching exactly one unrevealed cell means that cell is a mine.
If a number equals the count of adjacent flags, all other adjacent cells are safe.
Never guess unless every logical option is exhausted.
Look for patterns: 1-2-1 along a wall often marks the cell above the 2.
Practice on intermediate boards before tackling expert.
